Best Cozy Restaurants in The Gulch & North Gulch

Adele’s exceeded all expectations. From the moment you walk in the staff is exceptional they welcome you like family. It is our first time going out for Thanksgiving diner and it felt as if the chef has cooked for his family. The food was exceptional, absolutely delicious! Cameron our server was wonderful even gave us champagne to toast my daughter for her 21st birthday! If you are in Nashville do not miss this gem. Thank you Adele’s for making this family from Miami feel at home with a spectacular Thanksgiving!

We were looking for a relaxing dinner with family where we weren’t rushed and we could talk and hear each other and that is exactly what we got. The atmosphere was nice and the food and service were good as well.

A little loud but not crowded at all, the Iberian Pig promises big flavors on tiny plates. Every dish we had was outstanding, from the crisp, lightly dressed Waldorf salad, to the marinated olives, the spectacular selection of meats and cheeses (including a local cheese that was a delight), the croquettes and crostini and sauces and dips -- everything was phenomenal. And the desserts! We opted for the seasonal dessert, as well as the olive oil gelato and the burnt Basque cheesecake with black garlic dulce de leche. I'm going to be dreaming about the desserts until we get a chance to come back! The prices were fair; our family of three, tax and tip included, spent about $220 for a 2-meat, 3-cheese charcuterie; 3 desserts; 7 dishes; and a couple Cokes. Plus the kitchen gave us two free dishes due to a mix-up on their end. All the servers & FOH/BOH staff were amazing. If you're looking for a moderately fancy night out with great food, excellent service, and amazing vibes, definitely check out The Iberian Pig.

Our server, Ray, was spectacular - if six stars was an option, that is what we would choose. The food was great! The Farmer's tableside salad was a great start after appetizers - we had the tuna and it was exceptional. Another member of our party had crab legs which were deemed very good. The halibut entree was even better - you don't often see halibut steak but that is what they serve and it was fabulous. and the lamb chops were some of the best in town. And the rolls - don't pass on them. So good. We also ordered the honeynut squash and the potatoes. Both were excellent sides. The sommelier was knowledgeable and recommended the perfect wine to accompany our meal choices. The apple dessert was a winner! Sadly, the menu option for one of the fish dishes and what was offered were very different - a salt crusted black bass, which is what two of our party wanted, was not available and being replaced with red snapper. However, we were not told that the presentation would change. The snapper was a good, but unappealing-looking piece of fish, served skin side up on a very large, otherwise empty plate - and the skin was not crisped. Even adding the citrusy sauce didn't change it's plate appeal. When you are anticipating a dish you don't usually make at home (salt-crusted fish) and get an anemic-looking piece of snapper, it was a bit of a let down. We enjoyed our experience and will be back.
