NiMo is a Coastal Mediterranean concept by Feal Hospitality, owned by dynamic duo Chef Niven Patel and Mohamed “Mo” Alkassar. The menu, itself, is a depiction of the bond formed by the partners over the years. It is the story of Mo, who grew up in the Mediterranean between Syria and Spain, told through the cuisine of his business partner, Chef Niven Patel. The menu is a culinary journey across the Mediterranean which includes dishes inspired by Syrian, Greek, and Spanish cuisine. Italy takes center stage with various pastas and wood fired pizza, a nod to Chef Niven’s time in Florence. My husband and I had a great time last night at NiMo's. We sat at the bar which has comfortable bar stools and is very large. The hostess was very friendly and so was our bartender, Stephanie. We ordered two pizzas. Margherita and pepperoni. Both good but we preferred the Margherita one. Nice tomatoe sauce and crust was crispy. The service was excellent! The outside dining looks really nice and larger than we thought. Inside dining has lots of comfortable booths, and a few high tops by the bar. We really liked this restaurant and will definitely return! Also, good background music!
