Ambrosia was founded on the principle that the best food - and the best times of our lives - begin with love. In the Pizzi family kitchen in Liguria, Italy, the dinner table was a treasured space for family and friends. Since 1979, the Pizzi family, which now includes Gino's daughters Manuela, Anna, and Francesca, has been bringing that same love and commitment to the Ambrosia kitchen. Wasn’t sure what to expect, was afraid that this fine dining restaurant would be way out of my comfort zone, but I was thoroughly impressed. 12/10. Because of the holiday and Pacers game, the crowd was extremely light which made for a personal and cozy experience. Food was delectable! Astounding. 10 oz steak was so thick that it was maybe a bit rare in the middle for a medium rare, but the flavor and juice was of such high quality, all was good. Mac & Cheese? Incredible. A friend in the group said her Dirty Martini was impeccable. She and my wife loved the Caesar salad twist. AND, the anniversary dessert and raspberry cocktail were the perfect complimentary special treat! Then, we popped down to Mel’s after for some live jazz and cocktails. Honestly, a really neat experience overall. Can’t wait to return to celebrate other special events.

Wonderful food and delightful service. The shrimp cocktail is well overpriced for 4 shrimp...the seafood pasta was a bargain, as was the flatiron steak...and both were delicious...

I will definitely be returning to Borage! Loved the unique menu and everything that we ordered. We especially enjoyed the deviled eggs (and this is coming from someone who usually doesn’t eat deviled eggs-the caviar and mini potato chips were a lovely addition). Would definitely recommend if you haven’t tried it yet!

Historic restaurant family owned for generations. Amazing, authentic Italian food served in portions that will have us splitting next time. Dont let the dollar signs shy you away. If you share or if you have leftovers that last several meals, it is value added to incredible food. Make your reservations mid week. Simply one of the best in the city!
