The host isn’t very bright, my boyfriend called to get a reservation for 8, she kept asking the same questions 3 times (what the name was, how many people, what time, etc). Then she said it was booked until 9. I went online and there were many slots available from 7:30-9. So I booked it for 8:15… Next, our waitress wasn’t great. She was okay, but not very friendly and she kept rushing us. Of course, we took our time. But I don’t like to be rushed. We informed the restaurant and the waitress that it was our anniversary, but didn’t receive anything for it. The wait staff is very attentive and makes sure our order if correct and prepared the way we requested. Customer service and ambiance are always fly far above reproach. This outing, their GM Matt even texted personally to see if we’d like to move in to a better reservation… bravo! For recommendations, the spicy margs, machete (fancy quesadilla) , crab tostada, Caesar salad, salmon, and carne asada are some of our very favorites. Try a mezcal and recommendation too, impressive list. My Spanish CEO, a bit of a wine aficionado, was a bit skeptical, but every bottle has exceeded his high bar.
