- LLauraPortland / Oregon •1 review5.0Dined todayCame into NOLA under unusual weather circumstances, fully expecting the restaurant to be closed. Not only were they open, they had a packed house. Phenomenal food, attentive service....my only complaint? No room for dessert!More infoGW FinsPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• French Quarter•4.9
- TTurnerNew Orleans / Louisiana •5 reviews5.0Dined todayThis is our third visit to August. It gets better every single time. This isn’t just food, it’s a meal that you won’t soon forget. Each dish brings you to a place beyond description, leaving you wondering and asking, how did they do that? By far the best restaurant in the city and dare I say in the country. It is not cheap but you you will leave satisfied beyond words!More infoRestaurant AugustPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French / American• Central Business District•4.9
- AAnn MarieDenver / Colorado •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoTalk about the epitome of French cuisine. But, damn, does Couvant do it well. We had the oysters, the escargot which was unique-super buttery over puff pastry-I wish there was a bit more acidity to the dish but it was still lovely. We also had the coq au vin and the boeuf bourguignon. The sauce on the coq au vin was immaculate, chicken was moist, flavorful, and tender. The boeuf bourguignon was tender, the sauce was rich, and the veggies were perfect. You must get the profiteroles-I have often been turned off to pat e choux because it dry and lacks flavor-not this one. The chocolate sauce, toasted almonds, creamy ice cream, and perfectly cooked pat e choux: don’t pass this up.More infoCouvantPrice: Expensive• French• Central Business District•4.4
- MMichelleNew Orleans / Louisiana •19 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 16, 2025The ambiance and vibe of Irene's is always the wonderful foundation for the dining experience here. You have to just walk in and feel the coolness of the place. Sean was our server and provided interactive fun banter and well measured service. We enjoyed the ravioli, softshell crab meuniete and crabmeat gratin apps. Then it was on to the amazing sweet potato and andouille soup special, Italian wedding soup and Caesar salad for our second course...all delicious! The Duck st. Philip is not to be missed and we also enjoyed the Shrimp and Crawfish Fettuccine and Chicken Rosemarino...thank you for a lovely evening Irene's...will see you again real soon!More infoIrene'sPrice: Expensive• Italian• French Quarter•4.9
- RRONALDFort Lauderdale •2 reviews4.0Dined on Jan 16, 2025I expected more after reading a lot of reviews. Good food and some was average like the Duck. When you sit next to the ramp in the middle room you here the staff saying CORNER every time they walk into the kitchen. Sorry, with all the other great eateries, we will not return.More infoThe Pelican ClubPrice: Expensive• Creole / Cajun / Southern• French Quarter•4.6
