- BBonySan Diego •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoIf you’re a foodie then you will appreciate this place for a date night for flavorful international food with California and British influence’s and caring service. From the beverages I enjoyed the mocktail and happy hour appetizer with the best crispy pork belly bao I’ve had. The entree from the house made pasta in cream sauce and the jerk chicken was done with fresh ingredients and just hit the flavor notes. For desserts we appreciated the date cake with the homemade gelato. There is an outdoor area for kids to play around and outdoor seating. We’ll stop by with our kids next time for their high tea and my husband will consider California English as a spot to bring in business clients. Plenty of parking just as you drive past it to your right side, and try not to accidentally park in the Chick-Fil-A area. Thank you again!More infoCalifornia EnglishPrice: Expensive• American• Sorrento Mesa•4.4
- MMarinaSan Diego •1 review4.0Dined 6 days agoThe service and the hospitality was excellent, the ambiance was amazing, but the food was terrible and extremely overpriced. We paid $225 a person for a terrible meal that tastes awful, was horribly salty, and should not have cost more that $100 a person. Way overpriced meal.More infoAmaya at Fairmont Grand Del MarPrice: Very Expensive• French• Carmel Valley•4.2
- KKatherineSan Diego •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 24, 2024The lobby was beautifully decorated for the season. The tea options were wide with oolong to herbal all laid out with matching tea pots, cups and saucers. The sandwiches were a modern take on the traditional ones with a sweet potato and maple, salmon with pomegranate garnish, and a turkey salad brioche. The vanilla bean and fruit scones served with strawberry-blueberry jam and clotted cream were excellent. The desserts were also beautiful and delicious.More infoLobby Lounge at Fairmont Grand Del MarPrice: Moderate• Californian• Carmel Valley•4.4
- NNatalyaSan Diego •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 24, 2024Please provide public parking or include parking in your ticket price. We didn't try the food. A glass of wine was $28, there isn't any value in anything that was offered. We won't be back. Ambience was pleasant.More infoGrand Social at Fairmont Grand Del MarPrice: Moderate• American• Carmel Valley•3.9
