We’ve long loved Canary Wharf and it's rich history of the nearby Docklands and Billingsgate Market, yet Blacklock in a glass tower never quite fit. One look at an old disused warehouse nestled cosily in the corner of Canary Wharf underneath the train tracks of the North Dock and we knew we had found home. Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. Gently rising and falling with the tide, the main restaurant at dock-level is joined by a 120-seat waterside bar. Both include terraces with views across the water (squint your eyes and you might just see the ghosts of great ships laden with mighty lengths of timber that used to swing in and unload there). We visited with our baby to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Our waiter went above and beyond to give us a memorable experience, and was incredibly accommodating to meet all of our needs. His knowledge of the menu, and recommendations were spot on. The food was delicious, service was impeccable, nothing was too much trouble. Service from entry to leaving was wonderful from every member of staff we encountered.

We hadn't been to this pub for about 3 years. It was really quiet last time we went. It really local to two of my friends who work for the nhs. We were thinking we would have a relaxing night out. It's changed so much. I loved it so buzzing and great music. I loved my choice of food. One of my friends is a veggie and didn't like the veggie burger. A bit of a strange colour. The kitchen was closing or nearly closed when we were ordering our dessert. but they did do us a pudding but my other friend had a stone cold custard with her pudding again I lucked out with my choice. The security staff were really friendly.
