Best Cozy Restaurants in Esmeralda / Atizapán / Lomas Verdes

Had Christmas night dinner with the family. Food and ambiance were great ; service was not terrific. I guess staff was overwhelmed considering the date but as an ultra high end entertainment restaurant they should’ve be prepared. I still highly recommend though.

Absolutely marvelous food! The new creations of Chef Fer Torres are fantastic! I strongly recommend trying several dishes to share. Specially the new Huitlacoche Dumpling Soup and the Aguachile de Hotate. Also Xoconoxtle dessert is a piece of art, don’t miss it!

I loved my experience at Bandido! We struck up a conversation with the owner and she was incredibly attentive and offered great recommendations. We even returned the next morning to check out their breakfast menu! We’ll definitely be back!

Lovely greeting from hostess. Definitely try the Gasolinera drinks. Fantastic. A server comes to your table with a molcajete and makes a salsa to your specifications. Excellent. We had the taquitos de pato con mole-fantástico-and pastel de elote with unbelievably great ice cream. Lively place in Polanco. Oh and I requested a taste of grasshopper and they gave me a generous portion. Loved them! Our waiter Alfredo Matus was friendly, professional and helpful. We’ll be back.
