10/10 experience, we had the valentines menu it had 9 courses and it was a whole new experience, I never liked seafood or anything fishy so those dishes were a bit frightening to me but once I took a bite into the food, it was a delight, the salmon the tuna the oyster tempura, all took me away and I only wished there was a full platter in front of my face. Ambiance was perfect, compliments to the chef and the service was impeccable, no hesitation to help with any problem. One thing I can most definitely say about this restaurant is that pictures do not do it’s justice. You need to experience it with all your 5 senses to determine if this is the spot. This is most definitely the spot.

For starters, we opted for the calamari, which was lightly crispy on the outside while remaining tender inside, paired with a flavorful dipping sauce that complemented it beautifully. For the main course, we shared the selection of steak cuts, and it was nothing short of perfection. Each cut was cooked exactly to our preference, showcasing the quality of the meat and the skill of the kitchen. The variety allowed us to appreciate different textures and flavors, making every bite a delight. The bottle of wine we chose paired seamlessly with the meal, enhancing the richness of the steak without overpowering it. Service was attentive yet unobtrusive, with staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and happy to offer recommendations. My parents were celebrating their 60th anniversary on Valentine's Day and the Hawksmoor Team made it memorable. The vibe, energy and experience for me is as important as the food and the team are central to this. They were incredibly attentive, thoughtful and helpful which added so much to the experience. And of course the food was 11/10 Keep doing what you're doing Team Hawksmoor - the Dublin restaurant scene is better for it! Gavin
