The setting is at Clockwork in the middle of the Fairmont surrounded by beautiful Christmas trees and reindeer. Liah described all of the sandwiches and sweets and was extremely helpful throughout the tea. The variations of teas was superb with an eggnog flavour and an amazing Chai version. It was extremely festive. The sandwiches were substantial and fascinating- the smoked salmon and coronation chicken were some of our favourites but the roast beef on a croissant, tomato tart and lobster roll were all tasty and hearty. The value was excellent. The sweets didn’t disappoint either. The meringue snowmen and gingerbread cupcakes were superior S were the other chocolates and squares. The presentation was beautiful and the service impeccable. They were constantly checking on our hot water and if we needed anything. The scones with a special Christmas compote were a great finale! Liah even managed to get us some clotted cream. Overall this is one of the best afternoon teas we have attended around the world. We will definitely be going back to the Fairmont for their afternoon tea. Kudos to the entire staff and chefs.More infoCLOCKWORKPrice: Moderate• undefined• Financial District•4.8

The drinks are absolutely amazing, but the highlight for me was their signature cocktail, Pink in the City 🙌🏻 it’s absolutely to die for! The King’s Cake Slice is totally worth it. Perfect spot for a night out. Mariam who served us was amazing. Highly recommend!More infoLOUIX LOUISPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Financial District•4.7

- JJoycevipToronto / Ontario •24 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoFood was excellent. Ambiance was great. Service was exceptional. One star was lost because of two things: (1) the table was not wiped before giving us the dessert menu. There were crumbs on the table; (2) the Negroni did not have the big square ice cube but had ice chunks. Excuse given by server was lame - they had no room to store the ice cubes.More infoDaphnePrice: Very Expensive• American• Financial District•4.7
- RRichardToronto / Ontario •6 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoThe service and food quality is absolutely amazing. My wife and I have been trying to get reservations for years and finally we were successful on the evening of our 35th Anniversary. From the Hostess to the servers Adam, Godwin and the AGM Johann, everyone were super attentive and provided great input about the menu options chosen. The Steak Tarta & French onion Soup, both developed tastefully with the perfect combination of herbs & spices and creatively presented. The Brome Lake Duck and poached pear a perfect combination of sweet and acid complementing the tender meat of the pine- glazed Duck. The Lamb Rack, tender and tastefully matched with the white port jus and charred broccoli, made for a mouth watering pallet. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening and ended it with a rich cappuccino and Black Forest gâteau which we romantically shared and now look forward to our next visit, hopefully soon.More infoCanoe Restaurant and BarPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary Canadian• Financial District•4.5
