We had crab bisque soup, Mandarin & Brussels salad, and variety of entrees - halibut, fillet mignon, Braised Buffalo Short Ribs, Pork Osso Bucco. - SStephanieVIPPhiladelphia County •10 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoIt was our first Christmas Eve in town, and we wanted a quaint and local place with amazing food. We haven't been to Back Burner in some a couple years, but in my search, I noticed they were open for C.Eve. I made us reservations right away. It was the perfect place for our Christmas Eve dinner. The menu was a special holiday selection, so it was simple, but still had a nice variety of options to satisfy any taste we had (from steak to seafood to pasta). The service was amazing and the food was delicious. Not only will we return, but we would spend our holiday here again if the opportunity arose. Thank you for taking such great care of us!More infoBack Burner RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Hockessin•4.5
- JJessicaVIPPhiladelphia County •18 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThe restaurant was packed on a Monday night, with good reason. The food and service are great, with a focus on the local mushrooms, and the ambience is warm and welcoming. We will absolutely dine here again, and easily recommend it to anyone looking for great Italian food in Kennett Square.More infoTrattoria La TavolaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Kennett Square•4.6

- LLizPhiladelphia County •6 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 12, 2024This was our first time at Letty’s Tavern. We had been to Longwood Gardens, in the pouring rain. We showed up to Letty’s early, the gal at the reception desk was so accommodating, got us a table. The server was excellent, I could not decide what wine I wanted; he graciously brought me two tastes, so I could decide. We had the cheese tray; it was delicious. My husband had the short rib; it melted in his mouth. I had the fish and chips. The fish was delicious and was just enough, sometimes places give you this ridiculously large piece that you can’t finish; the fries were double fried; excellent. We finished this meal by sharing a piece of tiramisu. Probably one of the best pieces of tiramisu I have tasted. A wonderful end to a very wet day! Will be making a trek back to Kennet Square just to go to Letty’s !More infoLetty's TavernPrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Kennett Square•4.5
