Best Cozy Restaurants in Anaheim

Indoor seating with the 58* F weather. Great views with attentive & knowledgeable wait staff. Shared the olive app & toasted bread & tomato app. The Bread! The bread was an artisanal rustic white loaf. Slight crust with tender tender insides. SOOO GOOD! The tomato topping was slightly garlicky & tasty. Decided in the Coastal Array bomba rice(Paella). Safffon infused very tasty rice topped with mussels, clams & jumbo head on shrimp. This was a winner. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, the clams due to their petite size were a bit overcooked. Still, I’d order again. Needed a palate cleanser which the lemon sorbet filled the bill. Almost forgot the cocktails. Had the Top of V Manhattan. Well made cocktail with an Orange rind twist & a couple premium maraschino cherries. I love a nice cocktail at good restaurants. Never been disappointed yet. Did notice our second round (glass of Cabernet Sauvignon) took awhile. Not sure whether it was a late pick up by our waitress or the bartenders were too busy chatting. Very nice meal with a great night time view (kind of rare in North OC).

Had an amazing time. The food was great, view, fireworks. Our service from Q and other staff was the best very attentive and recommended so many great bites and drinks 10/10. I would definitely return in the near future.

The food, service and ambiance were exceptional. This was our first experience dining at Poppy and Seed. I strongly recommend trying everything on the menu. My favorite starters were the Squash Blossom and ceviche. The mushroom side included asparagus spears and snap peas, very tasty. The garganelle pasta was cooked al dente and had the right ratio of sauce and protein. We ordered five main dishes and I enjoyed the half chicken, the duck and the braised beef the most! The ingredients were fresh and the taste of each entree were unique. Our meal would not be complete without the gelato and brown butter waffle. The four different flavored scoops of gelato sandwiched between two crispy and airy waffles made for a delicious treat to end the evening. I can’t wait to go back again.

Went there with a group of 12 people, ages 7 to 66. Every single person in the group LOVED their meal. The portions were huge, and the service was excellent. They were out of an item that my daughter ordered, and went above and beyond to make it up to her. We will definitely go back the next time we are in Anaheim. Highly recommend this restaurant!
