- GGerardSan Diego •7 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoFirst time trying this restaurant. I agree with the other positive reviews.. It was very good! Our server Connie was excellent! We drove around to find free parking on the street but it was a Sunday and it’s La Jolla. We didn’t mind , we like to walk. There are many options close by if you want to pay a flat fee.More infoQueenstown VillagePrice: Moderate• New Zealand• La Jolla•4.6

- MMicheleSan Diego •9 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWhat elevates Piatti head and shoulders above others in its class is their amazing attention to high quality offerings, superior service, and the little touches that make a celebration most memorable. When I made the reservation for the 3 of us older women, in the Open Table space for identifying a special occasion I noted that my wife Kathryn was turning 70. When we walked into the restaurant and were seated in their award-winning patio, as requested, we found that our printed menus had in the corner: "Happy 70th birthday, Kathryn." My wife was so thrilled that she took a picture and sent it to the rest of her family. That started a fabulous lunch accompanied by a bit of alcohol (excellent martinis and Mai Tais), their warm ciabatta with to-die-for olive-oil-and-spices (what are those spices? we wiped up every bit) for dipping, and three kinds of pastas: pappardelle, penne Bolognese, and rotolo. After getting our leftover paper boxes, the waitperson brought out 3 forks and a piece of tiramisu with a candle for Kathryn to make a wish on and blow out. She's not a fan of coffee, but in this instance, she said it didn't overwhelm the chocolate and light cake flavors. We're luck to live within 15 minutes of this establishment. Take a Lyft, it's in a popular neighborhood and street parking is always at a premium.More infoPiatti - La JollaPrice: Moderate• Italian• La Jolla•4.7
- MmelanieSan Diego •5 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 16, 2024This is really a great Christmas event! The server was great but he’s over worked. They need more server’s per Fire pit! The poor kid was running him self ragged. It would benefit the customers and staff if the staff served just 2 or 3 fire pits at a time!More infoGrand Social at Fairmont Grand Del MarPrice: Moderate• American• Carmel Valley•4
