- JJanetChicago / Illinois •14 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe dined with family and friends for Thanksgiving dinner at Roanoke. We could not have been happier. The set menu still allowed diners to individually select drinks, appetizers, sides, the main dish (turkey and trimmings, salmon, steak), and dessert. Everything was delicious and well-seasoned. The wait staff was attentive. It was a packed house (because who cooks anymore?). We even ordered an extra plate to go (because leftovers are a must!). If Roanoke offers Thanksgiving dinner again, we will book it again!More infoRoanokePrice: Moderate• American• Downtown / Loop•4.3

Best lobster roll and wedge salad I’ve ever had, beautifully prepared and the chef did not cut back on the serving size to cut corners unlike most restaurants. Well with the price which is not inexpensive. Much better than I ever remembered the Gage being in prior years, to bad we have to leave town and could not go again. But we will be back. Our server, Crystal G was over the top in her help selecting choices and in her attentiveness . A wonderful luncheon spot for sure and I’ve been to the best of the best around the world.More infoThe GagePrice: Moderate• American• Downtown / Loop•4.7

Highly recommend the Vesuvio entrée for garlic lovers. The Veal Parmesan, a classic choice, was crispy and tender. The ambiance was cozy, relaxed, and modern. Absolutely plan on returning to explore more of this delicious menu. 10/10More infoViaggio Ristorante and LoungePrice: Moderate• Italian• West Loop•4.8
- AArielChicago / Illinois •4 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 21, 2024I’ve wanted to go to this place since I’ve always saw the food on TikTok and wanted to go and try it. I ordered the Jerk Turkey Tips with Mac and cheese and cabbage and my brother got the same thing but instead of cabbage, he got the yams. We had every intention on taking pictures of the food but the camera didn’t make it because we ate everything so FAST! Everything had full flavor. The jerk turkey tips had the perfect amount of spice. Everything thing was made like someone’s grandma was in the kitchen. It gave very much comfort food vibes. We also had margaritas. We went at 6:30 on a Wednesday and it was happy hour so we lucked out since they were half off. I got the blackberry one and he got the strawberry one. They were made very well. Our server was very nice and professional. Her name was Carly. She made sure to check on us throughout our time there. My bill was only around $95.00 because gratuity is already included but I still tipped anyways since it was a good first experience there! I will be going back.More infoThe L StationPrice: Expensive• Soul food• River North (Chicago)•3.9
