Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Pikesville

Took an out-of-town friend who was in search of a great crab cake here because the menu included vegetarian and vegan options for me and my partner. Food was great and the service was outstanding - Grace was phenomenal! We had a wonderful meal and my friend especially enjoyed her White Russian from the bar :)

As good as ever. The Bookmaker Salad is still the best. Our waitress was new so she was still learning the ropes, but she tried hard and was very pleasant. Good value for the dollar.

Service was excellent and the food is always good. Choptank does not disappoint.

Everything was delicious staff was wonderful the ladies who took my order were very kind!! I enjoyed our conversation. Blessing to the both of them.

Everything about this place was fantastic. In addition to having the most magical holiday decor in town and a great waterfront view, the food and service were top notch. I ordered one of the specials (shrimp gnocchi in pesto sauce), which was out of this world. The bartender even indulged me by making a holiday drink not found on the cocktail menu. Parking was easy as well since Ampersea is located just outside the busy part of Fells Point. I highly recommend Ampersea to anyone who is looking for a memorable night out. It's always great, but those holiday decorations and comfort food winter specials easily put Ampersea at the top of my list at this time of year. I plan to go back next week to enjoy it in all its winter splendor one more time before those stunning decorations and delectable specials are gone.
