- EElizabethVIPGreater Boston •3 reviews5.0Dined today18 of us gathered to celebrate a milestone birthday! Service was absolutely fantastic, food was delicious, and wonderful times were had by all. I was able to adjust the guest count easily if needed, which made planning a large group easy as can be.More infoBeacons RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Walpole•4.6
- EEricGreater Boston •10 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoI've eaten here many many times and it remains my favorite restaurant in Boston. Food is just spectacular and service is casually impeccable. We had such a lovely dinner, particularly the three in our party who had never been before. Have the tuna crudo from the raw bar menu--relatively simple but as good a dish as I've ever had.More infoRow 34 - BostonPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Fort Point Channel•4.8
- CCelesteVIPChicago / Illinois •21 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThis was our first visit to the restaurant, but it won’t be our last! The food was great. We loved the vibe and the service was fantastic!!! We highly recommend the Suya beef appetizer and the very spicy plantains (can’t remember the name of the dish). Great wine and cocktails! There’s nothing wrong with this restaurant (though I a bit more salt on the short ribs would have been good) and we understand why it’s so difficult to get a reservation. But we’ll keep trying to get there again.More infoComfort KitchenPrice: Expensive• Global, International• Dorchester•4.7
- CChiaraTampa / Central Florida West •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoThe food was excellent, everything we ordered was very good. If you want a cocktail off the menu they are good, otherwise stick to water. We went for brunch, ordered coffee which they had. Coffee is below average. We didn’t mind since the food was m very very good.More infoButtermilk & BourbonPrice: Moderate• Southern• Back Bay•4.6
- SSteveGreater Boston •11 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 28, 2024The food and service, as usual, was excellent. We continue to have problem, however, with issue of being seated with friends who arrive separately for the same reservation. Once again, our friends, who had arrived earlier, were seated at a table. When we arrived for the same reservation ,(under our name) we were seated at a separate table. After waiting, we called our friends to find out when they would be arriving. They advised us they were waiting for us for 20 minutes and were seated at a separate table on the other side of the restaurant! This keeps happening when we visit Joes in Westwood. The receptionists should have some way of knowing when two people for a four person reservation are seated that when the other couple arrives they are seated together. This is the second time this has happened. We waited twenty minutes before we realized that we were all at the restaurant! It was very embarrassing. We love Joes but it would be appreciated, in the future, if we are all seated together when couples meet at the restaurant, however, arrive at different times.
