Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Meatpacking District

went here on a very cold windy afternoon and had an amazing time. our server was really friendly. they have amazing hot chocolate or just chocolate in general (not sure about the stuff on their menu tho). very rich and creamy!!! their chocolate fondue was also good. not the best in cleanliness tho.

This was our second visit to Monte’s in the past year which says a lot given the amount of restaurant choices the city offers. The food here is top notch authentic Italian. This visit we had the eggplant rollatini which was maybe the best I’ve had in a very long time and the tortelloni, which was freshly made in house and also fantastic. Our waitress did not steer us wrong in her recommendations. The staff is friendly and attentive and boy do they hustle to accommodate their patrons. The room is crowded but we were lucky enough to sit at a corner table that was cozy and intimate. I would highly recommend eating here and we’ll definitely be returning. Grazie!

A great experience! Food & drink were delicious ( mimosas were especially tasty & coffee was strong & hot). The service was terrific; we loved the ambiance. Would definitely go back.

Our experience was great we celebrated Valentine’s Day the food that we order was the chicken parmigiana bits and the flat bread that was hard and had to much oil or grease we also ordered the maple crème brûlée and it was ok wasn’t the best and also the Dubai chocolate we were thinking it would taste like chocolate but instead it taste like dark chocolate with gold flakes but overall it was a great experience

I took my friend here for his birthday (as a surprise) and he loved it. Food and drinks were delicious. He was pleasantly surprised.
