Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Lake Bona Vista

Really loved the food - the fondue is always a standout here honestly. I think the risotto could be cooked a tad bit better ? Nothing that wrong with it but definitely a different taste and vibe from other risottos from restaurants of similar calibre (maybe it’s cause there were no mussels tonight due to shipment holiday delays). We also came on a VERY slow night so it was very quiet, which made the ambience so much better. I would definitely come again (hopefully when they have mussels for the risotto).

This cozy restaurant has a warm, homey ambiance with thoughtful touches, including a beautiful fireplace that creates a relaxing atmosphere. The food is delicious, comforting, and reasonably priced. The service is friendly and adds to the overall welcoming experience. Highly recommend!

My Son takes me out each year for my Birthday. We try to dine at restaurants that have been on our list, but have not eaten at. Model Milk was this years choice. When we looked at the menu prior to our reservation nothing jumped out at us as an absolutely must try item. That all changed once we ordered and started eating, no started experiencing the dishes we had chosen. We both were blown away with absolute perfection. We ordered almost all of the small dishes and every one was delicious. To anyone who may read this, don’t judge a book , or in this case menu. By its cover. Model milk is now one of our favorite restaurants. EAT EVERYTHING! You won’t regret it.

First time at the Derrick, server was very helpful is suggesting items for our group of 5.

I do love a nice breakfast and the beltliner didn’t disappoint. It has a little bit of that diner feel but the coffee is far better than that. I had a hash brown bowl and my egg was perfectly done-cooked white, runny yolk. Seasonings were balanced, textures just right.
