Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Forestville

This Bistro restaurant is my favorite! The menu is a bit limited for entrees, but each one is delicious! Salads are wonderful. A little overpriced for side dishes and desserts. Good selection of wines, both local and french. The ambiance is beautiful. Service was perfect.

The food here is amazing!! We came for breakfast, and the specials were killer. We tried as much as we could. The beignets were good, not the best I have ever had, a little raw dough in the middle probably a 3/5 for those, but everything else was amazing! Service was just alright, we had to ask what the specials were, and it took a long time to get water and out in our order.

The food choices make it hard to decide what to order! The tuna and the turkey sandwiches were piled high and tasty. The Cobb salad was super fresh and abundant. Brenda our server was attentive and took good care of us. We'll be back to try different dishes next time!

For amazing cocktails, good food, and a refreshing change of pace, Lo & Behold is the place to be.

I was a little surprised at the clam chowder, which is shellfish in a broth, not the creamy kind I am used to. It was good, but it is a lot of work to separate the clams from their shells, dispose of the shells, then dig out the clams from withinthe broth. Interesting experience! The shrimp risotto was excellent, the Dry Creek Sauvignon Blanc accompanied it well, and to finish, the affogato was really nice. Mency was attentive and professional. And we had a perfect table, in the corner overlooking the water. The weather was drizzly and foggy, which the restaurant can't control (I'm sure they wish they could), so I'll try to be back when I can enjoy the view.
