A Classic French Bistro in the heart of Edison Park has been a dream of Executive Chef and owner Joe Calabrese for several years. Joe was professionally trained at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America located in Hyde Park, New York. Before opening his other restaurant, Zia’s Trattoria (located one block west of Café Touché at 6699 N. Northwest Highway) in 1997, he was sharpening his professional – and knife – skills at several well-respected Chicago dining establishments including Ambria, Spiagia, Un Grand Cafe and the Park Hyatt.     We loved our breakfast at Little Goat, and keep in mind that it is little. Recommend booking ahead. The Okonomiyaki was a wonderful bowl of flavor and textures. Chocolate scone was big, had a good crunchy crust and delicious. Wait staff were friendly and attentive.

    Our meal at Girl & the Goat was wonderful! The service was friendly and helpful. He knew the menu and ensured our experience delicious. We began our dinner with the naan. The dips served alongside were excellent. Next we enjoyed the chickpea fritters that we crisp with creamy inside, accented by pomegranate. We definitely wanted to try the goat empanadas, and were glad that we did. Our next course that we enjoyed were the wood-fired mussels. The broth was delicious. We ended with the roasted pig face. Our server enticed us with dessert. We finished our meal with the apple hand pie. Overall, we loved this place.
