- CchristineNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoThis was our second visit to Monte’s in the past year which says a lot given the amount of restaurant choices the city offers. The food here is top notch authentic Italian. This visit we had the eggplant rollatini which was maybe the best I’ve had in a very long time and the tortelloni, which was freshly made in house and also fantastic. Our waitress did not steer us wrong in her recommendations. The staff is friendly and attentive and boy do they hustle to accommodate their patrons. The room is crowded but we were lucky enough to sit at a corner table that was cozy and intimate. I would highly recommend eating here and we’ll definitely be returning.
