- CCaroleYorkshire •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoFrom beginning to end our experience was a delight. We were made to feel special and valued. Our designated waitress looked after us brilliantly and the acknowledgement of our anniversary at the end of the meal was excellent and so appreciated. The attention to detail in every aspect was so pleasing. I have only marked the food down slightly because my husband's fillet steak was a little more rare than he likes but that is so difficult with that cut so it's my husband I should really mark down! Thank you for a special, and for me, a rare treat of an evening.More infoThe Ivy St. Helen’s SquarePrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• York•4.5
- CCaraYorkshire •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWe ordered French onion soup, pork cheek to start which was delicious. Me and my partner both had the fillet steak with truffle and Parmesan fries, onion rings and mac n cheese everything was 10/10 no faults. Steak cooked perfectly. For desert I had the baked Alaska and my partner had sticky toffee pudding both were fantastic! Jonathan our server was amazing too!More infoThe Cut & Craft YorkPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• York•4.6
- CClaireLincolnshire •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe’d seen the restaurant on a Facebook post and that they did the best Steak & Ale pie, we were not disappointed! Cooked fresh taking about thirty minutes to prepare, we already knew this so we had a starter and we hardly noticed the 30 minutes. Friendly staff, beautiful surroundings and the music was perfect! It was our anniversary so it felt right to have the most amazing food, in such a carefully curated place. You must book ahead (we did), when we arrived, walk ins were being turned away as they were fully booked. York is worth visiting just for this dining experience alone!More infoGuy Fawkes InnPrice: Expensive• British• York•4.4
- BBenYorkshire •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoWhat a lovely venue, food and staff. Everything seemed just right for a “date-night,” great ambience that gave us a feeling of privacy, yet not isolated, an engaged and pleasant waiter that didn’t overdo any interactions, food that was expertly prepared but that didn’t get in the way of conversation. A nigh-on perfect evening.More infoThe Star Inn The CityPrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• York•4.5
- TThomasYorkshire •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoAbsolutely amazing, the service was the best I’ve ever received & the food was outstanding. Even so the owner came round and chatted to us and every guests, we had a chat about Brazilian footballer Anthony too, will definitely be back, first time there and we dine out 2/3 times weekly but that was superior.More infoCasa Brazilian RodizioPrice: Expensive• Brazilian Steakhouse• York•4.8
