Walk-in's always welcome! Screen Door is a restaurant that presents itself as a love letter to the American South and the revival of regional cooking. Each day, the restaurant receives natural, local organic meats and produce from nearby vendors. The inclusion of regional Pacific Northwest ingredients into a menu of dishes developed in the south has created a unique flavor profile in Screen Door's menu. What a delightful surprise to find this little gem tucked inside an unassuming storefront in Downtown Beaverton. Inside are six charming tables, an attentive chef and staff, and a delicious and sometimes surprising tasting menu. From a perfectly seared scallop to a delicious vegetarian "meatball," the meal was excellent and the staff were so nice. The 70's playlist added the perfect vibe to a relaxed but special meal. Loved that they have a "half glass" wine pairing option. At the end, the eggnog semifreddo with a gingerbread wafer cookie was the best dessert I've had in a long time. The pairing with the Godfather cocktail was inspired. I can't believe this lovely spot wasn't on my radar sooner!

We had a large group for dinner on Christmas Eve. The service was adequate considering the place was packed and there was 10 of us. Food was good and tasty. No real complaints.

Theres’s a surprising depth of Burmese food in NYC. After having it in abundance in San Francisco I was pleasantly surprised to find a high quality Burmese restaurant in a Portland suburb on a random trip so I booked a team dinner here. The food was better the second time and I plan on coming back any time I’m in the area.
