Best Casual Restaurants in North Bergen

We had a 3 p.m. reservation for eight people, and the staff did an outstanding job of getting us seated by 2:45 p.m. We arrived at 2:10 p.m. because the opera “The Magic Flute” ended sooner than expected. The food, beverages, and service were excellent!

The entire visit was wonderful. From the beautiful Christmas decorations to the staff this place is a gem! Definitely will be back on my next visit ! Do not sleep on this place!

The restaurant’s interior is stunning, but for larger groups, you may be seated in an outdoor area. While the outdoor space is decent, it doesn’t quite match the ambiance of the inside. It is equipped with space heaters, but it was still a bit chilly during our visit. We requested to be moved indoors, and the staff was very accommodating, relocating us inside as space allowed. This, of course, depends on availability, and we were fortunate that there was room for our group of eight. We were celebrating a birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make it special by providing a birthday card for my niece and presenting her cake with a candle. The food was, as always, absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant 100%!

This was a fabulous lunch from beginning to end! The service was just out of this world as was the food! I had their marvelous French onion soup to start, and then a large order of steak tartare with pomme fritts! Then to top it all off I had a gorgeous hot fudge sundae with their special ice cream of the week, which was peanut butter and boy was it ever special! All topped up with a mountain of whipped cream and some beautiful toasted almonds. Please don’t share this with my cardiologist.

This place is amazing!! The food and drinks are delicious, the vibe is awesome and the servers are fantastic and so caring. I definitely recommend!
