Their friendship and working relationship, which has lasted over 20 years was so successful, they decided to pool their resources and stake a claim in downtown Napa's expanding culinary scene. Their aim was to create their own version of classic world cuisine in a comfortable space where family and community could gather for any occasion.     Having a hard time getting in for dinner? Go for an amazing lunch! We had two fancy drinks, the incredible meatball appetizer, and then split the winter salad, the pesto pasta (to die for!) and the cannoli. Finished it off with an espresso. All fresh and delicious - and we look forward to going again.

    Celebrated my father's birthday here. The food was great and the service was excellent. They also accommodated our birthday cake that we brought, and they helped my sister-in-law bring it out as a surprise, and they cut it for us and served it at the end . I had the ahi for the starter and the scallops for my entree. Both were excellent. The scallops were succelent.

    Lovely leisurely and delicious New Year’s Day luncheon at Carpe Diem. What a perfect restaurant. Great food. Large portions. Good value. Warm atmosphere. Attentive service. Just perfect in every way. Espresso Martini too!

    The restaurant is beautiful, the food was fabulous, and I wait person was perfect. I had the sauteed sole and my husband had the lobster roll, and both were absolutely delicious. We will definitely be coming back!

    Service was excellent with attentive staff. Ambience was great - nice space with a casual ambience. Food was excellent - a great variety of flavours at a good price point. We went more for the appetizers and smaller plates vs the mains so we could taste more of the menu - everything we had tasted great.
