Best Casual Restaurants in Ledbury

This was our second visit to 'Carriages' and we enjoyed it every bit as much as the first. Possibly the unlikely situation of the restaurant at the far end of a business park adds to the sense of delight when one finally arrives and discovers the very smart restaurant premises. The service is outstanding and I would like to thank all the staff for making our guest's birthday celebration so civilised and enjoyable. The food was exceptionally well prepared and presented, especially the main fish course, which was perfectly cooked. The wine list is extensive and, we thought, very reasonably priced. On a matter of purely personal taste, I would prefer very soft, instrumental background music - if any is needed at all; vocals can distract and interfere with conversation although, if one were dining alone or just as a couple, then perhaps it would be more welcome. This is a very minor point and in no way affected our enjoyment of the evening. Thank you.

Loved the atmosphere even though it was very quiet felt very cosy With had the special of a choice of pasta dishes and glass of wine went for a soft drink as driving Choice of pasta dishes was very varied and when delivered was a big bowl full thoroughly enjoyed the evening would definitely do it again
