- LCLisaCHouston •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe'd been recommended try El Morton and it certainly is authentic and delicious Spanish food! So many new things to try which were incredibly tasteful. The service was excellent and the waiter very attentive and friendly. I'd have enjoyed a Sav blanc on the menu however the wines are very Spanish. Overall a delicious meal and we'll most definitely be back.More infoEl PortonPrice: Expensive• Spanish• Benowa•4.8
- CCatherineGold Coast •3 reviews4.0Dined on Feb 28, 2025We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast visit to Double Barrel at Benowa. We had an excellent waitress, who was attentive to our needs and our food certainly showed that she had carefully recorded special requests. The food was well presented and delicious. Serving sizes were good. Concerns: The cash register is now at the entry point. We had to wait considerable time-despite having a reservation, as a group at the register couldn't make up their mind about their order and no-one could progress until the order was sorted. The same issue happened on the way out when two ladies couldn't decide on the drinks they wanted. Once we were inside we had no menus. The staff member on the register still had a queue to manage. We sat there till we saw the menus outside on the pole. The system seemed to flow better when the register was indoors. Parking is always an issue. It is normally impossible to park in the area where one should park. Illegal pool parking is the only issue.More infoDouble Barrel Kitchen & BarPrice: Moderate• Australian• Benowa•4.5
- FFeanorsGold Coast •1 review5.0Dined on Feb 28, 2025It was our first time to the Exhibitionist Bar. I had booked a table inside but asked to be moved to the outside patio. Even though it was a Friday night, they were so obliging and found us this high-top table with an amazing view of the Gold Coast skyline. We watched it go through daylight, dusk and evening and it was spectacular. It must be one of the best views on the coast. Troy was a marvellous host and was so helpful on what to order. On his advice we decided on the corn ribs, hummus and...brussels sprouts which, surprisingly, was the standout dish. The crispy, slow-baked sprouts with the honey chilli sauce were an ingenious combination. So tasty. For drinks, we ordered the Basic Peaches slushy which was this deliciously smooth and creamy layered cocktail. The perfect choice for a sultry late summer evening. I highly recommend the Exhibitionist Bar experience, the location, food, drinks and service was superb. The staff went above and beyond for us which really made the evening for us. Much appreciated.More infoThe Exhibitionist BarPrice: Moderate• Dining Bar• Surfers Paradise•4.5
