Best Casual Restaurants in Geneva

We were celebrating my parent’s 58th anniversary. The manager, Mia, came over and provided a complimentary bottle of sparkling and a wine tasting for 2 coupon. Our server, Casey, brought over a complimentary truffle dessert. My parents felt very special so thank you to the staff. The food was delicious. For appetizers, we would recommend the brussel sprouts. We recommend porkchops, chicken piccata and soy ginger salmon for main entrees. I highly recommend Cooper Hawk’s for a special occasion.

We had a party of 12 ages from 87 to 19. Everybody had a good time and ate well. The service was friendly and fast. We would recommend BASH again.

We went out for dinner on Christmas Eve for the first time and this place was the next best thing to home. The people were so nice and seemed genuinely happy to be there. If they are like that on a busy holiday I expect a regular day would be even better. The food was excellent as were the drinks including a perfect chocolate martini!

Lovely. I've attended several chicago tea rooms, and none of them compare to the quaint, elegant, experience of Oak+Rose. The Christmas tea was like a little sip of Christmas. The food was the right blend of savory and sweets - my personal favorites were the chicken salad croissant and macarons. My gluten-free girlfriend was pleasantly surprised by how yummy the bread was, and my vegetarian girlfriend thought the cucumber and hummus sandwiches were delicious. This is definitely our new annual tea room!

Food was great. Dawn, our server, was fun, friendly, and attentive. She was quick to make suggestions and took care of us at our pace. The place is good looking with a really nice bar as the centerpiece. We walked through the outdoor patio and bar area. Because of the time of year, it wasn’t set up, but looks like it’s a neat spot to hang out on warmer days. The tall ceilings, and hard surfaces, do bounce the noise around some. You definitely have to speak up when the place is full. All said, the food and service were great and the atmosphere is fun and vibrant. We will definitely be back!
