Best Casual Restaurants in Fair Oaks

A solo birthday meal at an old family favorite eatery. Enjoyed the sirloin steak, baked potato dry, and asparagus. Complemented by Dauo Cabernet Sauvignon which needed to breathe longer than I permitted it to do. Took the bottle home where it drank better than at the restaurant.

As usual, the food and service were great. Cheerfully split salads without a service charge. Both salmon and short ribs were excellent, as were cheesecake (huge) and gelato (not too sweet) desserts. A little noisy tonight once full, but with widely spaced tables and booths conversation over dinner was easy. We will definitely be back (already have another reservation). Table lamps illuminated food and menus, without shining in our eyes. Bulb color could be adjusted by patrons. Other restaurants should emulate this!

Good was outstanding, service was great. We enjoyed the drinks and ambience. We are excited to come back on a warmer evening to enjoy the amazingly decorated and giant patio.

told couldn't get in until 8:45! Yes, busy, could see. Firmly told Open Table could do no better. Immediately got 6:45 Open Table! Only 1/4 full then and the same as I left over an hour later. Good food, excellent service but so noisy couldn't talk to friend.
