Standing high above the city on the 10th floor of the City Club Apartments, at 309 Vine Street; resurrected from the history that has stood here before our time, Shires' Rooftop is inspired by the first amusement resort in this part of the country, Shires' Garden. Though the original Shires' Gardens burned to the ground, "in a most picturesque fire," the legacy that was left behind is everlasting and an integral part of the Queen City's history.     The food was incredible from start to finish and our waitress was amazing too. Whipped ricotta, meatballs, gem salad, and butternut & mascarpone was to die for. The bartender struggled. It seemed like he may have been new but it took me 10 minutes or more to get a drink at the bar after I ordered it.

    We always love, love, LOVE the Brussels sprout appetizer and this was the best batch yet!! We also tried the breakfast menu today and it was fabulous. Thank you for saving the table I requested. The staff is always fun and friendly. Nada makes a special day out even more special.

    Took my girlfriend here for Valentine’s Day and our waiter ham, yes that’s his name ham, was polite funny and a overall great person, food was incredibly good , best steak fajita tacos I’ve had and we will definitely coming back

    Upon arrival, I was given a rose for Valentine’s Day. Such a sweet touch! We sat at the bar and had plenty of room. I actually would prefer to sit there instead of at a 2 person table. The eggplant parm was massive and so delicious! We added the pasta but the sauce was a little too sweet for me. The vodka rigatoni (+ meatballs) was also incredible! Our server was kind and the manager also checked in on us throughout dinner. Overall great experience and can’t wait to go back!
