Best Casual Restaurants in Amityville

The coq au vin was a treat! Hope this restaurant is around for a very long time! Shout out to Patrick who is always fun and cheerful and attentive to patrons. Co-owner and maître d' Justin is welcoming and solicitous. Last but most important is Chef Aless whose menu and skill is so appreciated. Lucky to have this quality French dining experience in little old Massapequa!

Really fun evening, great band that was on early 6:30-9 which is amazing since most music first begins at 8 or 9 pm. Exciting Cajun menu and interesting cocktails. I’m not a fan of this type of cuisine so was thrilled to have a delicious little gem salad with shrimp, something delicious and unsauced. The decor and floor plan can certainly use an updated style, lots of wasted space near the bar where folks could be spending their $$ on cocktails . Fun time, definitely recommend.

The food! The wine! The cozy "city" vibe. Salumi is always great. The best vegetable dishes I've ever had in my life and so many other unique and delicious choices. From boards to tapas to brunch to larger plates everything is always fantastic. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and the wine and drink choices are plentiful and top notch. I'd recommend Salumi to anyone who'd listen.
