Butterjoint is a comfy bar and restaurant located in North Oakland. Excellent ambience and service on a post-holiday, low-key weeknight. Always think to have the duck when I visit French restaurants and the duck leg confit met my high expectations! Nice wine list and cocktails as well.

We were surprised to find that the Sunday brunch menu was available for this holiday (Jan. 1). This allowed for a range of item which the four of us tried. They were all tasty, delicious and well presented. Our server, Shawn, was helpful and attentive and booking was easy and flexible. When I called to say we would be a little late, Natalie was very helpful. All in all, a top notch experience.
