- SSamVIPHouston •37 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoFour of us attended Geist on Valentine’s Day for dinner. We were seated in the outside area which has a beautiful ambience but the evening was quite cold so we wore our winter coats throughout the dinner. The outside area has two fireplaces and one standup propane heater but it was still cold. Perhaps they could procure one or two more heaters? The service was fantastic and the fixed menu excellent. Three of us ordered the scallops starter and the filet mignon main. Excellent! One of us ordered the salmon which he said was very good. The dessert menu was limited to two items which were good. Maybe next year they could add a chocolate dessert option? Geist is excellent and we would definitely go back. Considering how very busy the restaurant was, the service and kitchen staff delivered! - GGypsyMemphis / West Tennessee •11 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe food was great if a little seafood heavy. I didn’t realize beforehand that is was a seafood restaurant. I had the avocado corn pizza and it was so good. My daughter had the chicken sandwich. She enjoyed very much. Service was professional and responsive.More infoThe Hampton Social - NashvillePrice: Moderate• American• Downtown / Sobro•4.7
- LLaurenNashville •5 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoMaking reservations for a time we wanted was easy. Everything we ordered was great! We started with an expresso martini and a local beer and pretzels with the cheese fondue. Then dinner was the short ribs with potatoes au gratin with the mac and cheese. Dessert was the bread pudding and the molten lava butter cake with toffee bits. Yes, we ordered two desserts because we couldn’t decide.More infoThe Henry - NashvillePrice: Moderate• American• Belmont / Hillsboro•4.8
- GGaryNashville •7 reviews4.0Dined on Jan 25, 2025I’m a big fan of Emmy Squared, especially the Colony pizza. The combo of the crust with the crispy pepperoni, pickled jalapeños, and honey drizzle makes for a savory, sweet flavor. There are menu options for salads, sandwiches, burgers, and wings. I’ve yet to hear anyone complain about the menu or quality of the food. What could use some focus is the attention to detail with service. If someone orders wings, make sure they have enough napkins. If someone orders a pizza, make sure there are enough utensils at the table after the appetizers are cleared. The East Nashville location wasn’t particularly busy during our visit, but the wait staff wasn’t particularly focused on more than the basics. We had lags between requests and returns to the table. (And it’s not s big place like The Cheesecake Factory.) When a meal can be $30+ per person with drink and tip and you’re given paper napkins and canned sodas, the wait staff needs to bridge the gap and ensure the dining experience aligns with the price point.More infoEmmy Squared - East NashvillePrice: Moderate• Pizzeria• East Nashville•4.6
