Best Brunch Restaurants in Hillside

We are frequent costumers and today for our surprise the meat service was not at its best. Yes I do recommend to go there but get your self familiar with the meat cuts and ask for your choices since often is only chicken and pork available. Once requested I had the chance to enjoy beef cuts.

This neighborhood restaurant rivals any experience downtown! The staff is very attentive and friendly. We have so many menu favorites. For an appetizer, the ropa vieja with a side of guacamole and an order of queso fundido are delicious and a great way to start your meal. The mole sauce on the chicken enchiladas is excellent paired with a side of elote. Other entree favorites are the carne asada, barbacoa tocos and fire roasted shrimp. I love this Mexican restaurant with a Latin influence!

We had a great time at Lucille. Beautifully decorated for Christmas, so festive! The food was great, as usual, and the portions - just right! The service was good, even though it was busier than usual, - the beginning of the holiday season. We enjoyed our lunch and had a great time.

Took my mom and daughter to the holiday tea. It was our first time. We had a lovely experience. Our server, Patty, was very welcoming and personable. She also made sure my daughter felt part of the experience even though she is only 3 years old. The food and tea were fantastic. My favorite was the salmon tea sandwich - it was so good. We plan to make this an annual tradition for the 3 of us.
