- LLauraNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined todayWhat s fantastic night! First: we were running late, I called and they changed our reservation no problem. Second: we asked to move tables TWICE and they moved us with smiles no problem. We ordered oysters to begin-wow were they delicious. Our craft cocktails were outstanding. We enjoyed our meal and lengthy conversation. After dinner we moved to the bar area to enjoy the band and more cocktails along side a beautiful crowd of friendly faces, the crowd was dressed trendy and fashionable. Loved the atmosphere and hospitality. A++ experience.More infoSalt and BarrelPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Bay Shore•4.7
- MMorganNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoWe came here for our birthdays and we were incredibly blown away by the service and the food. We had shrimp and lobster wontons and the miso mustard was 10/10. Then for entree we had the petite filet and waygu hanger, both outstanding. Sides were whipped potatoes and creamed spinach. I would highly recommend this place the food was just amazing.More infoPrime: An American Kitchen & Bar, Huntington, NYPrice: Very Expensive• American• Huntington•4.7
- HhowardJacksonville / Northeast Florida •2 reviews4.0Dined 4 days agoMaitre D' (?) was exceptional. He greeted us promptly, informed us that our reserved table was not ready ( we were early,) and escorted us to the bar for a drink. The mixologist concocted a perfect Olde Fashioned and actually brought it to us in the sitting room in front of the fire. Within 5 minutes we were escorted to our table, again in front of a cozy fire. Music played in the background, a little loud (just a bit) and perhaps an odd mix of tunes for an elegant setting. Since we had our drink order the server took our starter and main requests. Unfortunately, we, unlike every other guest, did not receive a bread basket. We did ask for one after our starters arrived, but it never showed up. Our mains were perfectly cooked. My wife had the steak ( medium rare) and I had the short ribs. My wife had asked that the fried potatoes be changed to mashed but we were told that substitutions were not possible. That was off-putting at these prices. Dessert was chocolate mousse and coffee for the lady and I opted for the double Irish coffee. The mousse arrived without even being noticed as it was placed in the center of the table. A goblet of mousse without a supporting plate, classless. The Irish coffee was outstanding, again thanks to the mixologyist. All in all a pleasant evening. Maybe a little more attention to small details would elevate the experience to the next level.More infoJedediah HawkinsPrice: Expensive• Farm-to-table• Riverhead•4.8
