Best Authentic Restaurants in Pike Township

It was wonderful. The seafood was amazing. So flavorful and fresh. It is truly as taste of Key West in Central Indiana.

.I had the Prime Rib and it was fantastic. Cooked perfectly and the loaded baked potato was great too. My wife had the Salmon Fondue. She said the fondue was delicious and the Salmon was prepared perfect. We usually make Firebirds our destination for a special occasion such as Valentines Day.

We were in town for mini Valentine’s Day get away, with dinner at a restaurant we had frequented before. We were elated to find a French restaurant open for breakfast the next morning at 8am (will come back for dinner.) Had seen prior warnings and some complaints about shortness of staff, so we went with ample time in case it was an issue. It wasn’t an issue at all, but maybe we had set our own sights on slowing down? Server was more than accommodating, placing us by the fireplace (bonus when getting there at opening) and was available for us despite having all of the tables. My wife was very happy with her omelette leek, potato, goat cheese. I had Soupe a l’Oignon and Sandwiche Lyonnaise. I had read reviews suggesting more salt for the French onion soup, but I was happy it wasn’t too salty. Would order again. Sandwich combined lightly toasted bread that stood up to the thick cut bacon, eggs, tomato and fresh green. More than worth the price. Already bragged about Auberge to friends and family, so we definitely will be making a trip back for at least giving dinner a try.

Outstanding restaurant. Can’t wait to go back! Everything we tried was delicious.

Eleven of us got together to celebrate the holidays and the passing of a dear friend. Dave’s was our choice since as a group we’ve been meeting here 4 or 5 times a year. The staff was great, our food was perfect and our waitress took care great care of us. I
