- JJoyceToronto / Ontario •7 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe yesterday’s soup was ginger carrot and coconut. Outstanding! Ordered another to go so I could have it again. Fish and chips were also excellent - moist fish, crispy fries and ginger infused Cole slaw. We’ve tried different menu items each time we visit and everything was fresh and islands inspired.More infoHaliimaile General StorePrice: Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Makawao•4.7
- JJerwyneHawaii •5 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThe restaurant was nice and quiet with enjoyable music and wind chimes playing. The Cold soba noodles with sous vide duck breast was delicious. Huge pieces of fish on the nigiri sushi. Soba crème brûlée was amazing.More infoWabisabi Soba & SushiPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Paia•4.6
- JJackVIPSeattle / Eastern Washington •44 reviews4.0Dined on Jan 25, 2025If you can't find joy dining in this open-air cafe, there are bigger problems. This beautiful, sunny courtyard just puts a smile on your face. Surrounded by pretty flowers, trees and a light breeze...it is quintessential "Hawaii" at its best. The food was good. Fresh ingredients, made to order. I had the banana bread french toast. It was outstanding. My guests had everything from an omelet to the breakfast wrap. All of it was good. The service left very little to be desired. Food from other tables was being brough to our table, drinks took a very long time, waitstaff seemed preoccupied and confused. We received food at our table several times that wasn't ours. No big deal, it got rerouted just fine...but it all seemed a little clunky. And when you would try to solicit some assistance, it fell on deaf ears. Does the medicore service kick this location out of contention for further breakfast visits? Absolutely not. Go enjoy this beautiful little spot...just bring a little more patience than you usually do.More infoIsland Fresh CaféPrice: Moderate• Breakfast• Paia•4
