The Longest Standing Restaurant In Greektown, Detroit​Brothers Niko and Vasili Dionysopoulos came to America in the late 60’s. They started by selling produce to the Greek churches and then to the businesses in Greektown. They opened Apollo Market on Harper Ave in 1968 till 1970. Then they purchased the Golden Fleece on April 7th 1970. They worked ’till the late 2000’s. Their sons Spero and Yanni took over the family business and remodeled the building and concept after 50 years to continue to give Metro Detroit the authentic Greek experience and hospitality. Now they’re reopening the staple grocery and bakery next door bring the latest and finest Greek imports.The Dionysopoulos family would like to thank all of you for these amazing 50 years and looking forward to the next 50!

The Caucus Club, located in the Penobscot Building, is an historic, stylish art deco masterpiece featuring two distinct dining spaces, historic bar and live Jazz.     The ink pasta was overwhelming fishy and the fettuccini was outstanding. The desserts were the winner of the night. The lamb meatballs was the other winner of the night. The ricotta app just didn’t have much flavor. The focaccia was delicious. It was a hit or miss on certain dishes. The drinks were good. Price point was a bit high for the caliber of food. Don’t get me wrong I would go back. The server was good.

    Excellent service from our server, Garrett! Valentine’s Day dinner here was great. We had a lot of fun! They have old school video games as well as a selection of board/card games. Will definitely be back!
