- DDeevipChicago / Illinois •39 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThis was our second visit to Shaya...and just like our first visit, we loved our meal. We enjoyed three of the dips: Babaganoush, Ikra, and another that had anchovies. They were all amazing! Of course, the fresh, warm pitas would make anything taste yummy! Next we had the hummus with fried chicken. It was good, but wish we had gotten the hummus with lamb ragu which we had last time and it was truly outstanding. We enjoyed a salad, that could have been cut up a bit more. It was sort of messy to get onto your plate and eat. It was good, but nothing special. Finally we enjoyed the hanger steak and potatoes. Delicious! Tender. Juicy. Just really good. They have great wine selections and the service was appropriately attentive without being annoying. We will definitely return if we come back to NOLA.More infoShayaPrice: Expensive• Israeli• Uptown•4.9

This quaint restaurant in New Orleans' CBD provides personal, attentive service, a large & varied menu, and great execution of every dish we tried (Red Curry with chicken; Crab Fried Rice; Tom Yum Ramen with Seafood Medley; and Clay Pot Baked Glass Noodles with Gulf Shrimp. Soups, salads, raw bar, extensive Vegetarian options and full bar with some unique Thai-infused cocktails also offered. Everything we had was fantastic.
