My first assessment is how you are greeted upon arrival. Accommodating! Welcoming! Our waiter knew how to explain options, asked about any allergies.. he was great! We enjoyed the food very much. Started with Arancini - more tomato based rice yummy. Calamari was tender (breading could be lighter) and meatballs on the money! We tried several pastas and chic parm. Cacio a Pepe very delicious - just right amount of black pepper, gently stuffed w ricotta, rigatoni alla vodka very tasty - be aware it is spicy and pistachio pesto and spaghetti was excellent - finally chicken parm - I know it is not a traditional Italian dish but thin and nicely prepared. All in all - very good experience. Will be back!More infoTrattoria Da SofiaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Kensington•4.6

I have a dairy allergy and she went out of her way to ensure none was used on my food. She was attentive, sweet, polite and like I said, "OUSTANDING!!!!" We love this place. YOU WILL TOO!!! So please try it and ask for Virginia B. B.More infoFarmer's Table - La MesaPrice: Moderate• Farm-to-table• La Mesa•4.3

Very welcoming and enjoyable. We had the arancini which were amazing, Cheese-wheel lobster pasta, and filet mignon. All were prepared very well. Limited, but good and affordable wine list. We will be back again.More infoLimoncello La MesaPrice: Moderate• Italian• North Park•4.6
- JjaneVIPSan Diego •6 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe are so happy to have found this place. The food is amazing....finish every bite amazing. It can be a special dinner, or you can just have a casual drink and appetizer. Friendly and efficient service. One little negative is the chairs. Wood is with an open back, which is hard for some people.More infoAntica TrattoriaPrice: Moderate• Contemporary Italian• La Mesa•4.7
