- CCarolynDenver / Colorado •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoLe Monde, a long-time resident of Morningside Heights, was full of festivity and rich, French food on Christmas. The pinot noir was top-notch. My guy had escargot, followed by a duck main course, and I had the salmon over spinach with a sauce I can't remember before we shared a chocolate mousse. We're glad we went early, because a lot of time for digestion was required. Our only criticism was that the guitar-player who sang wonderful tunes, mostly in French, was amplified, and we could barely hear each other. Minus the amplification, this would have been a plus, and I'm sure it was only for the holiday. The staff was welcoming and attentive, and we'd do it again.More infoLe MondePrice: Expensive• French• Upper West Side•4.6
- DDanaDallas - Fort Worth •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoWe plan our trip to NYC around eating at Carmine’s. This time we ate at the upper West Side location. We usually eat at the Times Square location. But this year it was booked solid for Christmas a month in advance. We were wowed again with an awesome meal at Carmines at 91st Street. We had the garlic bread with cheese. We always ask to add the cheese. So wonderful. We also split the lasagna. It is the best we have ever tasted. We brought over half of it home. I would recommend either Carmine’s to anyone wanting authentic Italian food at its best.More infoCarmine's - 91st Street - NYCPrice: Expensive• Italian• Upper West Side•4.6

- DBDrBHVIPNew York City •7 reviews4.0Dined on Jan 15, 2023We've been coming to this restaurant for a while and we enjoyed dining here every time. It is a nice addition to the neighborhood. I urge the Columbia and Mt. Sinai Morningside community to go down just one block below 106th and you might be surprised.More infoMiss SaigonPrice: Moderate• Vietnamese• Upper West Side•4.3
