Best Authentic Restaurants in Downtown / Sobro

What an amazing treat to get to go here. We came to Nashville for our anniversary and I booked our reservation as soon as they opened. We love Frank Sinatra and couldn't miss this. We both had steaks and every bite was absolutely phenomenal, cooked just as we asked. We got two sides, brussel sprouts and the potatoes. The brussels were well done, great flavor and overall a great side. The potatoes, we're good but overall just felt like potatoes, nothing exceptional. He had two martinis, a fly me to the moon and a night and day (dessert), and loved both. I had a dreamsicle (non-alcoholic), and it was so good, I'm gunna try to make it at home. For dessert we had the chocolate cake, which was good but again nothing special, I would have wanted it to be more rich or decade, I don't know it was just lacking something. There was a pianist and singer, which was amazing, and thankfully not too loud. We never felt like we had to yell to talk to each other despite all the people and music. Every staff member we met was very nice, we were wished a happy anniversary by every single person who came to outlet table, and got a special treat at the end of our dinner. The highlight was for my fiance to try the Jack Century, he did a half ounce and immediately wanted the bottle. He loves whiskey and scotch, he's tried many in all price ranges and we have never turned one down because of the price (and this one is definitely pricy). He said it was the smoothest with the best flavor he's ever had. Can't wait to come back one day, hopefully soon.

Our waiter was fabulous. Everyone very attentive without being obtrusive. Loved the ambience. Never felt rushed. There was a piano player and then a jazz trio that was playing a lot of Charlie Brown Christmas music. So nice. We are going to go back for sure. I think I’d like to sit at that long bar get some nice cocktails, an appetizer and listen to the music. Highly highly recommend the lobster bisque. And the wedge salad- best ever. Empanadas - so good. Enjoyed the chicken piccata. The eggplant appetizer was ordered as a main course. Meatballs were good though not the best thing we had. And, they make a good espresso martini. The right way.

The food for Thanksgiving dinner was delicious and we brought home lots of leftovers. There were three kinds of meat, all the sides, yummy rolls, and three kinds of dessert for two people! Our server, Andrea, was so friendly and attentive too. It was a great Thanksgiving! Thanks Puckett’s. We’ll be back!

The food was excellent. It was some of the best pasta we have ever had. The service was outstanding. There was a minor glitch with the order, but it was corrected in less than 5 minutes. I don’t expect perfect service, but I do expect a great recovery and Trattoria II Mulino delivers.

Everything was outstanding! Our waiter was so helpful and so accommodating! The meatballs were delicious! We wanted to try several things so our server, Jay, suggested ordering a few things to be able to taste it all! Best idea EVER! Everything we ordered, from the drinks, appetizers, main course to desserts was fantastic! Worth every penny!
