One Veal Picatta was not as flavorful as usual and somewhat dry; lamb chops were 4 smaller rib chops and somewhat overcooked. Salad was very good as were the paella and the liver and onions. Noise level in the fireplace room, understandably, was much higher than usual. But we will be back and will simply ask for a table in one of the front rooms!

                                                                                                So pleasant for a large older restaurant with a huge fireplace, wood- beamed callings, white tableclothes. We were quickly greeted by our server Pedro who answered questions and shared the specials. He was attentive but not obtrusive throughout the evening. My husband’s filet was prepared to perfection. My NY was overcooked but was immediately taken to be replaced. The host/maitre d’ checked on us as well. Desserts were delicious - lemon cheesecake with raspberries NY style and Gran Marnier soufle - and beautifully presented. We lingered over wine and a cordial. We will definitely return when we are in the area.

The service was extremely professional informing us thoroughly of the menu specials. The food was fantastic as was the continued service throughout our meal. I would gladly recommend Fandango's for your dining experience.

                                                                                                I chose Fandango for my birthday dinner because of its excellent and diverse menu, asking for a quiet corner. As it's popular and sometimes noisy, we went early to dodge the crowds. To my delight and gratitude, they seated us in a pleasant, small, quiet room by ourselves. Only by the time we reached dessert did a few other guests join us. It was perfect. The servers were thoughtful and attentive. I ordered sweetbreads, which are hardly served anywhere else, and while they weren't the best I've ever, they were very good. Our desserts were excellent. The whole experience met and exceeded my expectations and desires.

                                                                                                Fandango's is a great restaurant in Pacific Grove, very reminiscent of a French Farmhouse. The menu is highly diverse, with rarities like sweetbreads and abalone, along with more traditional fare such as Duck L'Orange and Steak Frites. The service was very attentive and the wine list enormous. A great way to spend an evening in Pacific Grove.
