   My wife and I decided to celebrate her birthday at Eleven. We were not disappointed. Everything was wonderful! We started early with $9 cocktails at the bar. We had Martinis with Plymouth Gin for only $9. They were great! Then we got $9 glasses of wine to take to our table. We ordered oysters to start, and they tasted so fresh, sweet & briny. My wife had the pork chop and I had the radiatori. They were both delicious. Finally, we had the Trio of Ice Creams with very rich & creamy vanilla bean, lavender honey, & maple brown walnut butter. They were all so good. Nick, our server was excellent too. He never rushed us, but he seemed to be always there to ask if everything was OK and if we needed anything.

   Excellent food, wonderful service from Larry. We enjoyed meatballs, calamari, and tuna tartare appetizers, pork chop, swordfish, salmon meals, luscious desserts and scrumptious drinks. Would be happy to go back again soon!

   Our waiter was incredibly rude, and pretentious. From the minute he approached the table you got the distinct feeling that you were being rushed (and aggressively so). We ordered 5 cocktails and 4 appetizers to start. Even with it being obvious that our bill would be high and he stood to make a good tip from it, he was short, visibly agitated when we weren’t ready with our entree order (even though we hadn’t yet finished our appetizers), and was so abrupt in his responses to a few questions about the menu that it was tempting not to just get up and leave after drinks and apps. I do not think I have ever experienced a situation where a waiter was so rude and did not even try to hide his aggravation with us. He approached the table many times but with questions asked abruptly and snarky statements like “can we talk later and pick entrees now?”. It was appalling. The appetizers and cocktails were good, but the entrees were only fair at best. That being said, our party of 5 spent over $600 for terrible service and mediocre food. I used to frequent Eleven for business lunch meetings a few years ago and while the nice atmosphere has not changed, I would not return as there are other places to go that offer a great food and service and at the same price point.

   The restaurant runs like a well oiled, thoughtfully managed machine. Staff is outstanding. Food is delicious, service is ideal.

   This is one of our favorite Pittsburgh restaurants that we absolutely have to dine at when we visit the city. The food is exceptional, and the service is impeccable. There's a wonderful selection of local cheeses and other starters (we love the tuna tartare), as well as really great bread. The main courses are also fantastic; our party had the swordfish, tenderloin, pork chop, and a pasta dish, and everyone was thrilled with their meals. Dessert is a must; they graciously gave us ours to go. This is such a lovely, fun restaurant!

   Eleven never disappoints. Food was excellent. Oysters fresh. Salad crisp. Did the swordfish and short ribs and we were very pleased. Ashley was a remarkable server in all aspects.
