The award winning restaurant specialises in modern Scottish cuisine prepared and cooked in a French method. The Dungeon restaurant is located in Bonnyrigg, half an hour’s drive from Edinburgh’s city centre but is also very close to Newtongrange Railway Station. The castle’s extensive parkland on the banks of River South Esk has enough attractions to captivate visitors for hours. The National Mining Museum can also be found close by. Dishes are carefully prepared with locally sourced, seasonal goods and delivered in a friendly and professional manor.
