Reservations for The American Harvest are full for the remainder of the Fall 2024 semester.
Guest bookings for the Winter 2025 semester will be available up to 30 days in advance.

We look forward to providing our guests a refined dining experience in an upscale casual atmosphere, proudly served by our Schoolcraft College Culinary Arts students.

Our American Harvest a la carte Lunch menu changes daily, offering freshly baked breads, gourmet soups, delicious salads, creative entrees, and an extensive selection of tempting desserts. Prices typically hover around $25-$30 per person.

Our American Harvest International Dinner Buffet menu changes weekly, at $38.95 per adult, and $20 per child (12 & under).

Don’t go there. It’s terrible! Actually, it’s my favorite restaurant and always hard to get reservations so don’t go. LOL! I’m conflicted, I want to keep this place a secret, but here I am posting on their behalf. If you do go you won’t be disappointed and you will help support the students that work very hard to make your dining experience special.

Selden Standard’s fare features flavors born in local farms, captured at the peak of the season, prepared in their wood-fired oven, and served small plates-style in shareable portions. Complementing the menu are wines from small producers, distinctive brews, and cocktails to suit the seasons. Selden is rustic and casual, but with an ever-present eye for quality, creativity, and fun. Chef Andy Hollyday is a 2023 James Beard finalist and four-time semi-finalist. A Google search for an Italian restaurant in Detroit to celebrate our daughters birthday lead us to Giovanni’s. Everything was amazing! Service, food, ambiance, we couldn’t be happier with our choice. We will definitely be back!!

The food and service were great. The only thing I didn’t like was the cancellation policy. $25 per person if you don’t cancel 24 hours in advance is too extreme. What if someone gets sick?
