   It was amazing as usual!!! Our waiter Jesse was incredible..the food was fabulous and the view of the Christmas tree in Pioneer Courthouse Square was amazing!!!

   Third time at Departure. Due to expense, only go on special occasions. Love the small plates and being able to taste a lot of different things. Ordered 6 items and really enjoyed all of them. Had Dumplings, Beef skewers, Halibut, crispy Crab roll, a dry noodle dish (my favorite). Looking forward to returning.

   Our server Jason was excellent! He took note of our diatary restrictions and suggested items that would work for us. He also made modifications to our desired items such that they met our dietary needs. One issue we had was that all the ingredients were not listed on the menu so on one item, we had an issue. That's said, the ambiance was great. It was the top floor of our hotel with nice views of the city. The place was pretty packed during dinner time which is a great sign. The food for us was good, as many items were spicy. The items were creative, but for us the simple version is what we wanted.

   Even on a raining evening the rooftop view was beautiful. It was a friends birthday and our first girls night out in a long time. We did Omakase and it was so worth it. The staff was great. Helped picked up our many drink options and helped us get out in time for our show at 7 even when we arrived at 5:30. If we didn’t have plans after we would have stayed much longer and probably tried many of the other dishes.

   This was my first time at the departure lounge. Great service, fascinating interior and breathtaking view from the 15th floor! Food was super delicious! I ordered glazed salmon and espresso martini, what can I say… that was the most delicious salmon I ever tried. Also, our waiter, Jesus, was very friendly and professional. Highly recommend this place!

    Something for everyone, which pretty much covered our table. Ample GF/V offerings for one diner and we didn't even have to ask (beet and brussels sprouts, tomato salad, and delicata squash), excellent beverage selection, including sake recommendations, splendid sushi and octopus, and a big bowl o' Kimchi fried rice with pork belly just in case we were still hungry (tbh, a half of that ended up going home with us). Flourless chocolate torte wasn't bad, either. Most of all, excellent service. It's been a while since we were there and now I'm already thinking about Duck Month (December).
