    All the food came lukewarm, the meats - hainanese chicken and smoked duck were a bit too tough as well.

    We had items from the A la Carte menu: leaf taco good, octopus taco excellent, dumplings average, sweet & sour pork below average (not menu worthy given other items), burrito eggplant average (couldn't taste anything but oil), truffle rice good, trout (mains) excellent. Service poor.

    Dailo is a must! The premium tasting menu was an explosion of flavour. The perfect combination of comfort food with the culinary craftsmanship of seasonal plates all inspired from Chef Nick’s family meals. Favourites were the Hainanese chicken, whole fried Giggie trout and a sumptuous array of dumpling. The passion and knowledge of the staff further elevate the experience! A great night!

    Upstairs is away from the action. If you want quiet, it works. If you want the energy of a restaurant full of diners, not so much. And lots of small dishes are enough. Don’t need a main if you’re sampling many of the delicious tapis.

    It’s a very nice restaurant with great quality food and excellent chefs. Yet, value per money is not the best ratio. You can get similar quality for about 20% less, so let’s say you’re paying a premium on “reputation” prestige which is okay but I’ wouldn’t make it a “go-to” place. More like once in a year experience (or depending how often they change the menu).

    Another memorable dining experience at DaiLo with the smaller tasting menu. Very unique and creative cuisine, attentive and professional service. We were warmly welcomed on a cold January night.
