Best Wine Bars in East Hartford

The food was good I wish they had an option for garlic butter for the steak sauce… and the mashpotatoes were not worth $18. Small portion no flavor. Steak was beautifully cooked and able to cut the filet with a fork. French onion was very good!

We were there on Christmas Eve to celebrate my daughter’s 18th birthday (on her actual bday) and the wait staff did such an amazing job. Our glasses were never empty, we never had to ask for refills. Our meals were delivered fairly quickly and the table was setup with a card and birthday confetti. Such attention to detail. The restaurant was busy, but you would have never known until around 6pm. Side note: When I was making the reservation, I was told there would be over 500 people in and out on Christmas Eve. Naturally, I was thinking the restaurant might lose its charm with all of that noise; but it never did. It was again, one of the best local dining experiences for our family! Delicious food and drinks, very warm and welcoming staff and ambiance and the kitchen is fun to watch if sitting at the counter! The seafood paella, shishitos, Caesar salad, patatas bravas, artichokes and blood orange mocktail were are wonderful. I will be excited to come back and try the carrots, octopus, other salads, Escalivada and lamb skewers. Thank you for a lovely evening, happy holidays!

Excellent food! Server seemed a little unsure of menu, but we got through it. Would definitely go back.
