Best Wine Bars in Merrifield

Again the Wine House was a wonderful dining experience. The server was super friendly and I think she brought us our drinks in about 2 minutes. All four of us were more than pleased with the quality of our entrees. The Wine House has always been one of our favorite restaurants because of its quality and atmosphere.

The dynamic menu didn’t disappoint. The seasonal cocktails tasted like “Fall in a glass” and the fresh selections were cooked perfectly and were delicious. Robert, our waiter, was wonderful and really seemed to care that we had the best experience possible.

First time. Was a little concerned after reading other reviews and map didn’t get us to the front of the restaurant. But from there, all was stellar. Service, ambiance, food were over the top skilled, delightful and delicious. We canceled our reservation for my husband’s birthday so we could come here instead. We’re fussy, so this is a huge tribute.

We greatly appreciated the consideration of the staff. The walk to our table for two, both of us elderly and using canes, was difficult. The young host was apologetic and, unbidden, took the price of our soft drinks off the bill. We waited a bit long for our meals, but to be fair, it appeared that many dinners arrived at once. The food, a smash burger, and the salmon en croute, was very good.
